Author Bio
This book has been a ten year labor of love for the author. Fire Captain Rick Connelly is in his 40th year with the Boston Fire Department. He has served on engine companies, ladder companies, and a rescue company. He has worked in residential, ghetto and downtown areas.
Most of the photos are his own and some have been used with the owner's permission. With very few exceptions, every firehouse is photographed, some more than once. If it is no longer an operating firehouse, you'll know what it is home to now.
Rick has been taking photos of firehouses for over 45 years and wants to share them with you!
